About Our Healthcare & Wellness Days

Healthcare Wellness services that can be rendered during our wellness days:

  • Healthcare and lifestyle questionnaire
  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • Total cholesterol screening (finger prick)
  • Glucose screening (finger prick)
  • BMI measurement and calculation
  • Health education provided to members
  • Providing feedback to all individuals screen and full group risks analysis

Our role during and after a wellness day:

  • Communication with HR Department or Occupational Nurse prior to Wellness Day
  • Completion of questionnaires
  • Qualified nursing staff on-site to perform screening of cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure monitoring, BMI measurements and calculation and education to members
  • Invitation to additional exhibitors (assist with education to members and.or employees
  • Disease education to all members and/or employees screened and tested
  • Data capturing and feedback of individual and group results

Healthcare Wellness will assist identified, potential or high-rick individuals with the following:

  • Information regarding a visit to a healthcare professional, e.g.: GP, Dietician, Optometrist etc.

Feedback and full reports will be provided to employees and employer (if authorised by the employee) and will include the following:

  • Group demographics
  • Group average screening results and risk assessment 
  • Individual assessment/screening results and risk profile (printed and posted or emailed to individual members)
  • All individual’s results are stored on a central database which can track medication utilisation and compliance, as well as future results
  • Continued education provided to each member

Benefits Of Our Healthcare Wellness Programme

  • We provide wellness and disease education to patients at the Wellness Day and we offer aftercare assistance
  • We provide additional health-related exhibitors for the day
  • We use registered nursing staff to perform screening
  • Healthcare Wellness provide individual feedback and risk analysis
  • A group risk analysis for each employer group (site specific) is provided
  • We will identify potentially high-risk patients, immediately provide education to each patient and refer them (where applicable) to a doctor or specialist
  • Data is captured on a central-database which incorporates the data of previous Wellness Days hosted at the employer group
  • Above data is specified per employee
  • Year-on-year employee results and outcomes can therefore be analysed
  • Information will be provided to identified patients regarding visits to an occupational nurse or general practitioner for further assessment and screening
  • The above process assists with monitoring patient compliance
  • Healthcare Wellness is in a position to claim for Wellness Days and Vaccinations from most medical aids with the assistance of one of our pharmacies

All services rendered can be customised according to each client's specific requirements and all services are provided nationally, throughout South Africa.
